I decided to make these very simple avocado and chicken burritos from Brunch Time Baker I forgot to take a picture but her's look better than mine would have. They were super easy and the ingredients below are all you need! (avocado, cilantro, shredded cheese, cooked chicken and tortillas)
All you do is combined the ingredients, wrap them up in the tortilla, and cook them in a heated pan until they are golden brown. I cooked them for just over a minute on each side. It was a super easy and cheap meal, and it is relatively healthy.
I used the Tyson's pre-cooked Fajita Chicken Strips and would not recommend them. The bag was $7.00 and I definite;y don't think you get your moneys worth. Plus, the chicken strips were kind of fatty and poor quality and had some spiciness that was really inconsistent. I would take one bite and not taste it then the next bite my mouth was on fire. In the future I would get a rotisserie chicken and pull it apart myself or just cook up a couple pieces in the pan quickly.
I would give this recipe 5 stars for simplicity and cost, but only 3 for taste (even though that was my fault for choosing terrible chicken).
